TESTIMONIALS

"If we are lucky, we have a teacher in our lives who cracks open worlds to reveal all kinds of hidden truths and wonder; Jaimien Delp is the epitome of such a teacher, a humanist who truly believes that language has the ability to unlock the imagination and empower young minds.  To witness her individualized and empathetic engagement with her students is to witness nothing short of magic."

"In the mind of a high-school senior, the thought of any wrong step in the college admissions process provokes a cacophony of everything that could go wrong in your life. The choice to work with Jaime was absolutely to the contrary. I was an insecure, indecisive, and debilitatingly slow writer when I came to her. She assessed my person and through a well-tailored process and constant encouragement (what I needed), I actually finished!

Jaime's core belief in writing and its process runs deep; it was as if she was working out my story and struggles, ambitions and insecurities alongside me. The craziest part for me is how purely, and infectiously compassionate she is; having clearly not put in due time to her assignments, the manner in which she still sought out the positive aspects and congratulated me, motivated me to return to her with better work, and I am in her debt for that.

I was accepted into the Univerisity of Michigan, New England Conservatory, Manhattan School of Music, Oberlin College, Oberlin Conservatory, The New School, Peabody Conservatory, UMass - Amherst, Berklee College of Music, and New York University."
