Summer Session A, Grades 3-6 Wednesdays

Service Description

Classes at The Dreamer’s Desk will always focus on writing as a form of exploration, creativity, empathy and discovery. Each 6-week session will then have a unique focus or theme to inspire the poems and stories we will read together, and the prompts for new writing! During this 6-week session for Grades 3-6: Together we will adventure into stories and poems that bring even the most seemingly ordinary scenes to life and invite young writers to re-envision the world around them. In this class, students will discover that even the smallest moments are full of wonder, and that THEY have the ability to create their own meaning in the world. At The Dreamer's Desk, our goal for each student is that they complete the class with greater confidence in their skills as a writer, feel proud of their imaginations and their voices, and believe in their unique abilities, talents and dreams, whatever they may be.
